Pollinator Habitat Program (PHP) application

Starting July 2023 Cachuma Resource Conservation District (CRCD), Ventura County Resource Conservation District (VCRCD), Community Environmental Council (CEC), and Santa Barbara Botanical Garden (SBBG) have partnered with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) to administer Pollinator Habitat Program (PHP) grant funds.

This offers reimbursements for eligible PHP practices, including but not limited to, hedgerow installation, wildlife habitat planting, cover cropping and more on agricultural and working lands in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.

See currently approved list of PHP practices here: https://www.cdfa.ca.gov/oefi/php/

Due to the heavy interest and applications submitted thus far, there is no guarantee a project will be funded. If you’re interested in PHP, please fill out this intake form to get on the farmer interest list.
